The old sanctuary cross, resurrected as a sculpture remains in the green space left where the 1904 building was razed in 2011. In the background is the the present sactuary of St. Peters Lutheran Church, Columbus, Indiana on Thursday October 10, 2013. The new sanctuary, designed by Gunnar Birkerts, was completed in 1988.
